RL2-067HBB by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RL2-067HBB is a motor power cable supplied by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RL2 Motor Power Cables series. It links a drive controller to a second-generation Rexroth motor, carrying power and feedback conductors in one assembly so automated axes receive coordinated energy and control. Used inside drag chains and articulated machine sections, the cable maintains electrical integrity through constant motion for high-cycle industrial automation tasks such as pick-and-place gantries and packaging stations. That combined layout also reduces the need for separate routing paths along moving machine members where space is limited.

The cable has a cross-section of 10.0 mm², which helps carry higher motor current while keeping the overall cable size manageable. Its power cores are rated for 600/1000 V, and the separate signal pair uses insulation rated for 450/750 V to keep control circuits isolated from the main motor supply. The minimum static bend radius is 5xD when the cable is fixed in place, and it is rated for 5,000,000 bending cycles in continuous-flex service. The outer sheath is a PUR (orange RAL 2003) jacket that resists oil and weld spatter in factory settings. The assembly uses an M58 motor connector, which joins the cable directly to compatible second-generation Rexroth motors and keeps the power and signal paths in one harness.

During movement, the permitted dynamic bend is 7.5xD, so the cable can travel through drag-chain loops without excessive strain. Copper conductors can reach 90 °C in fixed routing and 80 °C when flexing, allowing higher load peaks during acceleration phases. A temperature range of -20 to 60 °C applies during flexible operation, while fixed installation extends down to -30 °C for colder indoor areas. This allows the same assembly to be used in moving machine sections and in stationary runs between the drive cabinet and motor.
