The RL2-045DBB is a motor power cable manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RL2 Motor Power Cables series. Designed for industrial automation, this cable forms the electrical link between a drive controller and a second-generation Rexroth servomotor, carrying three-phase power along with auxiliary sensor lines in a single assembly. Its function is to simplify wiring inside machine tools, packaging lines, and handling modules by combining motor power conductors and low-voltage signal pairs in one routed cable harness.

The cable core layout is 4x L + 4x 0.75 mm², meaning four power conductors surrounded by four smaller auxiliary wires that share the sheath. Each power core has a cross-section of 1.5 mm², supplying current levels typically demanded by compact rotary axes. The insulation system supports a maximum working potential of 600/1000 V on those power paths, allowing the drive to operate safely on common factory mains. A tough PUR (orange RAL 2003) jacket resists abrasion and coolant exposure while keeping the assembly visible inside cable tracks. For dynamic motion, the cord can flex down to 7.5 × D without stressing the copper, making it suitable for continuous drag-chain travel.

When the machine is at rest, the cable may sit in tight loops using a static bend radius of 5 × D, and its design tolerates 5 million bending cycles so it remains serviceable across long production shifts. An integrated M40 Power Connector mates directly to the motor housing, aligning with the intended motor generation so no adapter hardware is required. The separate signal cores are rated for 450/750 V, enabling encoder supply or brake control within the same run. The combined conductor set allows motor power and auxiliary circuits to follow the same cable path through moving sections of the machine.
