The RL2-044FBB is a motor power cable from the RL2 Motor Power Cables series manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. It links second-generation Rexroth servo motors to their drives in industrial automation cells, carrying three-phase power through a four-conductor layout while also providing four 0.75 mm² signal lines for brake or sensor circuits. By combining suitable conductor size, shielding, and a PUR outer jacket, the cable supports electromagnetic compatibility and mechanical durability in cable tracks and moving gantries. The auxiliary conductors let power and low-level control functions travel in one assembly, which helps reduce separate cable runs on compact machines.

The cable is rated for 5 million flex cycles, so repeated motion inside linear axes does not degrade conductor integrity. A dynamic bending radius of 7.5 × D protects the insulation when the cable is in continuous motion, whereas a static radius of 5 × D applies to fixed routing in control cabinets. Power conductors have a cross section of 4.0 mm², giving adequate ampacity for drives that operate at up to 600/1000 V system voltage. The connector side mates with an M40 bayonet interface for secure attachment without a separate threaded coupling. Polypropylene insulation surrounds each conductor, and the 4× L + 4× 0.75 mm² core arrangement keeps power and signal circuits separated to reduce crosstalk.

Thermal performance supports a maximum conductor temperature of +90 °C in fixed routing and an upper flexible-use limit of +60 °C. When the cable is at rest, service continues down to -30 °C, and the moving-temperature limit remains suitable for chilled production halls. Signal cores observe a separate rating of 450/750 V, matching brake or auxiliary supply circuits. The orange PUR jacket resists oils and weld spatter and remains suitable for standard energy-chain applications.
