The Bosch Rexroth Indramat RL2-043DBB is a motor power cable from the RL2 Motor Power Cables series. This basic four-core assembly links second-generation IndraDrive or Diax drives to synchronous or induction motors, carrying three-phase power and protective earth within a single jacket so installation in industrial automation cabinets and drag chains is simplified. Its design supports fixed routing inside machines as well as moderate flexing in cable tracks, providing a pre-engineered connection for continuous equipment operation.

The cable core arrangement follows a 4x L + 4x 0.75 mm² layout, meaning four power conductors and four smaller auxiliary conductors are stranded together for combined power and signal routing. Each power core offers a 1.5 mm² cross-section that balances current capacity with a manageable outer diameter, while polypropylene insulation around the copper conductors withstands continuous temperatures up to 90 °C without deforming. For mains feeds, the assembly is rated to 600/1000 V, and the auxiliary conductors may operate up to 450/750 V within the same sheath. An insulation resistance of 20 M?/km at 20 °C limits leakage current and helps the drive's monitoring circuits distinguish actual ground faults from cable-related losses. The overall build is classified as basic, with no additional shielding or brake pairs.

A polyurethane sheath forms the exterior, and the PUR jacket resists cutting oils and repetitive motion wear while supporting a maximum operating temperature of 80 °C for permanently installed runs and 60 °C during dynamic movement. In moving applications, the cable must follow a minimum bend radius of 7.5 × D, whereas fixed routing can use a tighter 5 × D loop without risking conductor fatigue. Service is permitted down to -30 °C for fixed installation or -20 °C for occasional flexing, so cold-room machinery can be wired without supplemental heating. The cable is intended for second-generation motor connections, so connector codings and impedance values align with newer Rexroth servo families.
