The Bosch Rexroth Indramat RL2-024CBB is a motor power cable supplied within the RL2 Motor Power Cables series. It connects second-generation Rexroth synchronous motors to their drive controllers in conveyors, pick-and-place gantries, and other dynamic automation axes. By combining power and auxiliary conductors in one flexible assembly, the cable reduces the number of separate cable runs while still meeting the mechanical endurance expected in modern drag-chain applications. Its electrical layout is suited to axes that cycle through frequent acceleration and deceleration.

This model uses a cable arrangement of 4x L + 4x 0.75 mm², which combines four power cores with four auxiliary conductors for straightforward routing beside encoder lines. Each power core has a cross section of 1.0 mm², which helps limit voltage drop over typical axis lengths while fitting compact cable glands. The assembly is rated for at least 5 million flex cycles, so it can tolerate continuous motion in energy chains. Power conductors are rated for up to 600/1000 V, covering the phase and DC-link potentials used by servo inverters, while the separate signal conductors are rated for 450/750 V. During fixed routing, the conductor temperature can reach 90 °C, which supports operation in warm cabinet areas and helps preserve insulation life.

During motion, the conductor temperature limit is 80 °C, and the dynamic bending radius is 7.5xD, which allows compact loop routing in drag-chain paths. Static installations may use a tighter 5xD bend radius when the cable remains in place. An insulation resistance of 20 M?/km helps keep leakage current low during normal operation. The outer jacket is made of PUR and uses an orange RAL 2003 color for visibility and oil resistance. The cable mates directly with second-generation motors and is intended for repeated movement in high-duty robotic and handling axes.
