The RL2-022DBB belongs to the RL2 Motor Power Cables series produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. It is a pre-assembled supply lead for second-generation Indramat servomotors and is intended to deliver phase power while maintaining electromagnetic compatibility inside machine tools and handling systems. Within an installation, the cable bridges the drive controller and the motor, so it transfers current reliably without premature insulation fatigue. This makes it useful for servo axes that depend on consistent power transfer during acceleration and reversing duty.

This model uses a conductor set of 4x L + 4x 0.75 mm², with four main power cores and four smaller pilot cores for sensor lines or protective functions. The motor end carries a keyed M23 connector that helps maintain correct pin orientation during connection. Each copper conductor can operate continuously at temperatures up to 90 °C, which supports stable use near typical motor heat sources. A PUR sheath protects the cores from cutting oils and repeated motion while adding mechanical toughness in industrial environments. In fixed routing channels, the cable requires a minimum bend radius of 5 × D, where D is the outer diameter. This helps the insulation and conductor bundle remain intact when the cable is installed along cabinet walls or machine frames.

For dynamic carriers and energy chains, the minimum bend radius is 7.5 × D to reduce stress during repeated flexing. Each main conductor has a cross-section of 1.5 mm², which supports the current demand of medium-frame servomotors without excessive voltage drop across typical machine runs. The jacket color is orange (RAL 2003), which improves visibility in crowded panels and cable runs. The cable was developed for the 2nd motor generation and follows the standard layout used for this cable type. The outer jacket also makes the cable easier to identify during assembly and routine maintenance.
