RL2-010CBB by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RL2-010CBB is a motor power cable manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RL2 Motor Power Cables series. Intended for industrial automation, this cable carries drive current from compatible inverters to moving servo axes while also routing associated sensor lines in a shared jacket. Using one flexible assembly for power and auxiliary circuits helps reduce external cable runs around moving machine sections. That arrangement supports coordinated motor operation on dynamic machine tools, assembly equipment, and other motion systems.

It is rated for 5,000,000 bending cycles in drag-chain operation, and a dynamic bending radius of 7.5 x D helps limit conductor strain during motion. The outer sheath is made of PUR (Orange RAL 2003), which resists oils and weld spatter, and the power-core insulation is rated for 600/1000 V. In fixed installation, conductor temperature may reach 90 °C without harming the insulation system. The cable uses four 1.0 mm² power conductors together with separate signal conductors in the same jacket, and it terminates in an M17 molded plug that mates with the motor housing. These features support repeated flexing where abrasion resistance and stable insulation are required.

For stationary routing, the minimum bend radius is 5 x D, which allows tighter installation than in moving service. Differential encoder and brake circuits are insulated for 450/750 V, and the cable remains operational from -30 °C to 80 °C when fixed or from -20 °C to 60 °C during motion. These temperature limits support both fixed cabinet exits and continuously moving cable tracks. It also allows torsional displacement of up to ±30°/m, which is useful on robot wrists and rotary tables. The assembly is compatible with second-generation motors, so the plug mates directly with matching motor housings while shielding remains effective during continuous motion.
