The RL2-004CBB is a motor power cable manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RL2 Motor Power Cables series. Intended for industrial automation, it carries drive output to compatible servo motors while returning low-level signals through its auxiliary cores. Its Basic construction combines four load conductors with four 0.75 mm² sense lines and terminates with an M17 Plug D connector. Because power and auxiliary conductors are bundled in one assembly, the cable can reduce the number of separate runs between the drive and the motor. This arrangement is useful on machines where wiring must pass through tight channels, drag chains, or moving support arms.

The cable supports a dynamic bending radius of 7.5xD, so it can travel in cable chains without placing excessive strain on the conductors. For fixed installation, the minimum bending radius is 5xD, which helps with routing in tighter cabinet or machine spaces. Torsional capacity reaches ≤ ±30 °/m, allowing controlled twisting during use on rotating axes and articulated motion systems. Its service life is rated for > 5,000,000 bending cycles, which suits repeated motion over long operating periods. Power conductors use a cross-section of 1.0 mm², which fits low-voltage servo applications while keeping the cable flexible enough for repeated movement. This combination of bend and twist tolerance supports use on axes that change direction frequently during normal machine operation.

The outer sheath uses PUR (Orange RAL 2003), which offers abrasion resistance and makes the cable easy to identify in dense machine wiring. Flame behavior meets IEC 60332-1/2, making the cable suitable for enclosed panel and machine installations where adjacent wiring shares limited space. Insulation resistance at 20 °C is ≥ 20 MΩ/km, which helps reduce leakage current over longer runs. The jacket is also oil-resistant in accordance with EN 60811-2-1; EN 50363-10-2, so it can withstand contact with common industrial fluids. The PUR surface also helps resist scuffing and minor surface damage when the cable moves through guides, clamps, or chain links.
