RL2-002CBT by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RL2-002CBT is a flexible motor power lead produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RL2 Motor Power Cables series. It links second-generation IndraDrive servo motors to their drives in automated machinery, carrying phase power and auxiliary signals through a single sheath. By combining four power conductors and four smaller signal leads in one torsion-rated assembly, the cable simplifies routing inside dynamic cable chains and rotary axes common in industrial automation cells.

This RL2 cable is built on a torsion design that tolerates continuous rotation without stressing the conductors. The outer jacket is molded from PUR (Orange RAL 2003), a polyurethane compound that resists oil and abrasion while staying visible inside machines. With an overall diameter of 12.2 mm, panels and glands can be sized for strain relief. Internally, four 1.0 mm² power cores and four 0.75 mm² signal leads provide the 4×1.0 mm² + 4×0.75 mm² layout; this limits leakage to 0.4 nF/m. The insulation system maintains at least >= 20 M?/km of resistance, which helps reduce leakage current in humid areas. A fixed installation can follow a bend radius of 5 × D, and during motion the cable withstands torsion cycles of ±180°/30 cm.

Electrical separation inside the sheath allows the power cores to operate at up to 600/1000 V, while the control leads are limited to 450/750 V, aligning with common IndraDrive feedback and temperature-sensor circuits. The factory-crimped M17 Power Connector mates directly to second-generation motor housings, eliminating field terminations and helping maintain EMC shielding. Classified under the Rexroth Cable product group, the assembly uses a 4×1.0 mm² plus 4×0.75 mm² conductor arrangement, and its second-generation designation confirms geometry compatible with newer stator housings.
