The RL2-001CBT is a motor power cable manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RL2 Motor Power Cables series. Intended to carry drive output from servo amplifiers to second-generation Rexroth motors, the cable completes the power circuit while accommodating constant machine movement. Its torsion-capable construction lets it serve on robotic axes, pick-and-place heads, and other automation assemblies where the cable must twist and flex without conductor fatigue. By combining power delivery and auxiliary conductors in one assembly, it also helps keep routing more compact in moving cable paths.

Inside the RL2-001CBT, four load conductors are bundled with four signal leads in the 4x L + 4x 0.75 mm² layout, so separate auxiliary power can travel alongside the main phases without additional cabling. Each copper core has a cross-section of 1.0 mm², which suits the current demand of compact servo systems. The cable is built for Torsion duty, and that construction works with a maximum dynamic bending radius of 7.5xD, allowing repeated movement through pulleys or energy chains without overstressing the insulation. A high-visibility Orange (RAL 2003) outer jacket makes the cable easy to distinguish from feedback lines on crowded cable trays. The jacket color also helps visual identification where multiple harnesses share the same moving path.

For chemical and abrasion resistance, the sheath is molded from PUR, which suits oil-rich environments typical of metal-cutting cells. The cable withstands cyclical twisting of ±180°/30 cm, so rotary tables can move without requiring a separate loop zone. Connection to the motor is completed through an M17 power connector that matches second-generation Rexroth pinouts and supports straightforward integration with compatible motor interfaces. When machines remain stationary, the assembly only needs a static bend of 5xD, which eases routing behind cabinet doors and along linear axes. The cable can be routed through both fixed and moving sections of the same machine without changing to a different cable type.
