RKL4800 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL4800 is a motor power cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for use in the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It links drive controllers to synchronous servo motors in automated machinery, carrying the main three-phase supply while tolerating continuous motion inside cable carriers. Factory-installed connectors and a polyurethane outer jacket give the assembly the mechanical and chemical resistance needed for conveyor gantries, pick-and-place axes, and other applications where frequent flexing and confined routing paths are unavoidable.

This model is built from bulk cable type INK0670 and is supplied as a ready-made assembly, so it arrives cut and terminated for immediate installation. Its outer sheath is molded from PUR, a material that resists coolants, oils, and abrasion better than PVC jackets typically used in static wiring. Under dynamic motion, the cable may bend to a minimum radius of 7.5 × D, preventing conductor fatigue when installed in energy-chain loops, while stationary runs may follow a tighter 5 × D curve without damage. Endurance is rated for 5,000,000 flex cycles, indicating suitability for high-duty production cells where a linear axis may travel thousands of times per shift.

The controller end terminates with connector type RLS0745/KM75, and the motor end uses RLS1701/C01, eliminating field crimping and helping maintain shield continuity. Power conductors are sized at 0.75 mm², providing adequate ampacity for typical MLP and MSK motor frames, while separate control cores of 0.5 mm² carry temperature sensor or brake signals without sharing the power bundle. The cable can be routed in drag chains because its layered stranding, textile fillers, and PUR jacket limit torsion and compressive stress during rapid acceleration and deceleration of moving machine elements.
