RKL4783 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL4783 is a motor power cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It joins drive amplifiers to servo motors in dynamic handling equipment. This arrangement provides simultaneous delivery of three-phase power and feedback sensor supply so that motion axes can be energized and monitored during continuous operation.

The cable core is built with 4x35 mm² + 2x(2x1.5 mm²), a layout that separates high-current conductors from smaller signal pairs to minimize crosstalk. A molded plug coded RLS1301/C35 is fitted on the drive side, while the motor side terminates in a matching RLS0727/K35; both connectors provide keyed, vibration-proof locking. Copper paths exhibit a resistive value of 0.554 ?/km, limiting power loss over the cable's working length. The overall diameter measures 30.8 mm, which affects tray sizing and clamp selection. A PUR sheath with an adhesion-free, matte finish shields the bundle from coolants and abrasives, and the manufacturing reference INK0667 identifies the bulk cable used before connectorization. Control pairs tolerate 300/300 V rms, so encoder and brake circuits can share the same jacket without separate conduits.

For high-cycle energy-chain layouts, the jacket endures 5 million bending cycles, and motion can occur at a minimum loop radius of 7.5xD without conductor fatigue. Three-phase paths are rated at 300/500 V, matching the output stages of IndraDrive power sections. During service, conductor insulation withstands temperatures up to +80/+90 °C for flexible and fixed routing respectively, while ambient operation ranges from -30 °C in fixed installation to -20 °C in moving installation and rises to +40 °C in both cases. Static installations require only 5xD clearance, which allows tighter routing where the cable does not flex during operation.
