The RKL4779 motor power cable is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It links servo or induction motors to their drive in automated machinery, transmitting three-phase supply current and auxiliary control lines through a single flexible assembly. By combining finely stranded conductors with an abrasion-resistant sheath, the cable maintains reliable power delivery in energy-chain, gantry, and pick-and-place installations found across industrial automation.

The cable houses four power cores with a cross-section of 35.0 mm² within a 4 × 35 mm² + 4 × 1.5 mm² layout; the auxiliary conductors each measure 1.5 mm² and carry encoder, brake, or sensor voltages. Copper conductor resistance is limited to 0.554 ?/km at 20 °C, keeping voltage drop low along extended machine axes. An outer diameter of 30.8 mm allows routing through standard drag chains without overcrowding. During continuous motion, the sheath flexes safely to a dynamic bending radius of 7.5×D; when the machine is idle, a static bend limit of 5×D applies to protect insulation layers.

The polyurethane jacket is made of PUR and colored RAL 2003 (Orange) for quick visual identification on factory floors. This material withstands oils and welding spatter while retaining flexibility for at least 5,000,000 bending cycles under specified chain geometry. A line-to-shield discharge capacity of 1.2 nF/m influences the selection of motor-side filters and helps keep drive switching currents within acceptable limits. These characteristics let the cable maintain stable electrical parameters under repetitive motion, environmental exposure, and electromagnetic interference constraints encountered in modern production equipment.
