RKL4761 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL4761 is a preassembled motor power cable manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It links a drive controller to a servo or induction motor in automated production cells, carrying three-phase power, protective earth, and low-level control leads through a single jacketed bundle. The cable is engineered for both fixed routing and continuous drag-chain service where electrical integrity and mechanical durability are required.

At the core of the cable design is the bulk type INK0604, which combines three power cores and a protective earth with auxiliary pairs for feedback or brake signals. The auxiliary bundle contains 2×1.0 mm² + 2×1.5 mm² conductors, while the power set uses a 3 + PE layout with a 6.0 mm² section to minimize voltage drop. Copper resistance on the power cores is 3.30 ?/km, a value that limits I²R losses over long runs. For installation, the jacketed assembly may be bent to 5 × D when clamped in place and to 7.5 × D during dynamic motion, supporting cable chains without stressing the PUR outer sheath. The polyurethane jacket, colored RAL 2003 orange, also insulates the 300/500 V power circuit and the 300/300 V control circuit against oil and coolant exposure.

Factory-crimped terminations simplify mounting. On the controller end, the keyed RLS1202/C06 plug mates directly with Bosch Rexroth power modules, while the motor end is fitted with an RLK1301 bayonet that seals against housing gaskets. The round PUR jacket measures 18.5 mm in overall diameter, so cabinet glands and chain dividers can be sized quickly. Each power conductor features a 6.0 mm² cross-section that supports currents associated with the 300/500 V rating without excessive heating. Low-smoke insulation and clearly marked cores support use on high-cycle pick-and-place axes and vertical travel stages.
