RKL4760 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL4760 is a preassembled motor power cable supplied by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. Designed for connecting servo drives to synchronous motors in automated machinery, the assembly pairs a molded power lead with integrated control cores so that motor power and auxiliary signals can be routed through a single run. Its construction and pinout match Rexroth drive controllers and motors, allowing quick installation without field crimping or ferrule assembly.

The power path employs three phase conductors and a protective earth, listed as 3 (plus PE), each with a cross-sectional area of 4.0 mm²; this gauge supports continuous current at the cable's rated load while limiting voltage drop. System voltage for both motor supply and auxiliary logic reaches 600 V AC, so the insulation thickness and spacing follow the same class for power and control cores. Copper resistance is held to 4.95 ?/km at 20 °C, minimizing I²R losses over extended cable trays. Between any two phases, the geometry yields a specific capacitance of 0.8 nF/m, an important value when sizing drive-side filters to meet EMC limits.

The assembly is produced from INK0603 bulk stock that carries a matte PUR jacket; this outer sheath resists oil and abrasion while remaining adhesion-free for drag chain service. Mechanical routing allowances start with a fixed bend radius of 5 × D; when the cable must articulate, the limit changes to 7.5 × D to avoid conductor fatigue. Thermal limits also differ by installation state, and the copper can reach +90 °C in static layouts and +80 °C during continuous flexing. Two signal pairs are embedded for brakes or sensors, sized at 1.0 mm² and 1.5 mm² respectively, and they terminate at an RLS1202/C04 controller-side plug and an RLK1301 motor connector so mating with Rexroth servo components remains error-free.
