RKL4759 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL4759 cable is a flexible motor power lead produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It provides the physical link between an Indramat drive and its servo motor, carrying both power and auxiliary control lines in automated equipment. By combining power and control conductors in a single jacket, the cable simplifies cabinet wiring and supports continuous motion axes that run inside drag-chain guides on assembly lines, packaging machines, and machine-tool gantries. This combined layout reduces the number of separate cable runs between the cabinet and the motor and keeps moving cable packages more compact.

Mechanical durability is rated at 5 million bending cycles, so the sheath withstands repetitive motion without conductor fatigue during high-duty positioning tasks. The core assembly is manufactured from bulk cable INK0602. The cable is approved for drag-chain use, and its minimum dynamic loop is 7.5 × D, which suits repeated movement in energy chains. Conductor resistance of 7.98 ?/km limits voltage drop over long runs, while four power cores of 2.5 mm² each carry the phase and protective-earth currents required by small and mid-frame Rexroth motors. A PUR jacket in orange (RAL 2003) resists oil and coolant and remains flexible at low temperatures. Inside the jacket, two screened control pairs complement the power set, permitting brake release or temperature signals to share the same routing.

For fixed routing, a minimum bend radius of 5 × D protects the conductors when the cable is tied down in cabinets. The power cores operate up to 300/500 V, while the auxiliary circuits are limited to 300/300 V, maintaining separation between drive power and logic lines. Control wiring uses 1.0 mm² cross-sections across two individually shielded pairs to reduce crosstalk. The shielded auxiliary pairs help preserve signal quality when brake and temperature circuits are routed beside the motor power conductors. At the motor, termination is made through connection block RLK1301, and the drive end uses the keyed RLS1202/C04 plug, which helps prevent polarity errors.
