RKL4753 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL4753 motor power cable is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It connects an IndraDrive controller to a servo motor, carrying three-phase power and auxiliary control cores during continuous motion. Factory-crimped connectors on each end shorten installation and provide strain relief for drag-chain layouts used in assembly, packaging, and gantry axes. The cable is intended for moving machine applications where secure connections and flexible routing are both required.

The cable has an outer diameter of 12.2 mm, which helps with tray and conduit sizing while leaving room for the protective sheath. Three power cores use copper conductors with a cross-section of 1.5 mm², and two control cores use 0.75 mm² conductors for brake or sensor signals. The insulation system supports 300/500 V on the power conductors and 300/300 V on the control conductors, keeping the higher-energy and lower-energy circuits separated inside the common jacket. Conductor resistance is 13.3 ?/km at 20 °C, which helps limit voltage drop on moderate cable runs. The assembly uses bulk cable type INK0650 and terminates to a drive-side RLS1102/C02 connector for direct coupling to compatible IndraDrive modules.

The outer sheath is made from PUR, which resists oils and coolants and supports drag-chain motion for up to 5,000,000 bending cycles. The minimum dynamic bend radius is 7.5 × D, while static routing can be tightened to 5 × D without placing unnecessary stress on the cores. These limits help reduce copper work hardening during repeated axis strokes. The motor end is fitted with an RLK1201 plug that mates directly with Rexroth servomotors. The drive-side connector uses a quarter-turn latch to help prevent vibration-induced loosening during repeated motion and direction changes.
