The RKL4736 is a motor power cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and supplied through the RKL Motor Power Cables series. Intended to link servo or spindle motors to their drives, this cable carries three-phase power plus auxiliary control cores, allowing coordinated motion and sensor feedback to travel through one assembly. By combining power and signal conductors in a format approved for continuous flexing, it supports dynamic axes inside automated machine tools, packaging lines, and palletizers where frequent movement in drag chains is routine. It is suited for moving cable carriers that must handle repeated bending without separating power wiring from auxiliary circuits.

The cable has an outer diameter of 29.8 mm and uses stranded copper conductors with phase conductors that each have a cross-section of 25.0 mm². A separate control pair rated at 1.5 mm² carries brake release or temperature signals without external wiring. The cable is rated for up to 5,000,000 bending cycles, which suits repeated motion in high-speed drag chains. Dynamic routing is permitted down to a radius of 7.5 × D, while stationary loops may tighten to 5 × D without stressing the conductors or jacket.

The cable has a distributed capacitance of 1.1 nF/m, which adds reactive load that the drive must charge and discharge at switching frequencies. This is important on longer cable runs where repeated switching increases the electrical demand seen by the drive output stage.
