RKL4726 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL4726 motor power cable is supplied by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the RKL Motor Power Cables series. This assembly provides the primary energy link between a drive controller and a synchronous servo motor, supporting automated conveyors, pick-and-place axes, and packaging lines. It is delivered as a finished harness, which eliminates on-site crimping and keeps conductor geometry, shielding, and strain relief within the intended tolerances for industrial motion systems. Its design is intended for continuous-flex installation inside cable carriers used on multi-axis robots and rapid-cycle transfer equipment.

Its mechanical endurance is rated for 5,000,000 bending cycles, indicating how many flexing motions the cable can withstand before conductor fatigue becomes critical. During dynamic travel, the minimum bend radius is 7.5 x D, where D is the outer diameter, to help prevent insulation cracking. In fixed installations, the bend radius can be reduced to 5 x D without placing the copper strands under the same level of stress. The sheath has an outer diameter of 25.5 mm, which is relevant for drag-chain fill capacity and gland selection. A PUR jacket surrounds the conductors, providing abrasion resistance and stable electrical insulation in areas exposed to lubricants or cutting fluids.

Electrical capability is provided by a 16.0 mm² trio for the power conductors, while control functions such as temperature sensing use a separate 1.5 mm² pair. The insulation system tolerates continuous service up to 90 °C in fixed cabinet routing and up to 80 °C in moving applications. Drive termination uses a RLS0723/K16 connector, and the motor end connects to an RLK1301 terminal box. The bulk cable is INK0606, which matches the conductor layup and shielding used in the finished harness.
