Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the RKL4725 power lead within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. The unit is a flexible assembly that links an IndraDrive or comparable inverter to its associated servo motor, transmitting three-phase current and auxiliary signals in a single jacket. In automated production lines, the cable supports continuous carrier movement while maintaining electrical integrity between cabinet controllers and moving axes inside drag chains. Because the power and auxiliary conductors share one jacket, the cable reduces the number of separate runs between the drive and the motor. That layout helps keep moving cable packages compact on axes that travel repeatedly.

The cable diameter of 22.2 mm suits M25 strain-relief fittings and leaves clearance for dynamic torsion. Four copper cores sized 4x10.0 mm² carry the motor's main load, while the secondary bundle of 2x1.0 mm² + 2x1.5 mm² is reserved for brake release and temperature monitoring circuits. Drive-side mating is achieved through the keyed RLS0723/K10 connector that locks to the controller output terminals, while an RLK1301 plug fastens at the motor end with a bayonet latch and provides 360° shielding continuity. The polyurethane outer jacket resists coolant exposure, and its orange RAL 2003 color helps identify the assembly as power wiring during service. The shield connection at both ends helps limit electrical noise from the motor phases and supports stable transmission in the auxiliary circuits.

The cable is rated for 5,000,000 flex cycles when operated inside energy chains that observe a minimum dynamic bend of 7.5 × D. Stationary routing may tighten the loop to 5 × D without damaging the conductors. During fixed installation, the copper can reach a conductor temperature of 90 °C, while flexible motion is limited to 80 °C to reduce insulation fatigue. Service is permitted from -30 °C to +40 °C in closed machine rooms, and motion is allowed down to -20 °C. The PUR sheath maintains abrasion resistance across this range, and the orange jacket makes the cable easier to trace along machine routes.
