RKL4715 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL4715 is a motor power cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It links a drive controller to a servo motor through a factory-terminated assembly, so three-phase power, protective earth, and auxiliary circuits can be connected without field crimping. Its purpose is to carry motor power and supporting auxiliary signals in one harness, which reduces separate cable runs on compact machines and coordinated motion axes. The preassembled format also keeps the controller-side and motor-side terminations fixed to the intended mating interfaces.

This ready-made cable contains eight conductors arranged as 3P+PE for the main supply and four auxiliary cores. The power cores have a cross-section of 1.5 mm², while each auxiliary line is 0.75 mm² for brake release or thermal sensor circuits. A dedicated RLS0722/K02 plug is fitted on the controller side, so the harness mates directly with compatible drive modules and keeps connection work straightforward. The cable has a static bend radius of 5 × D, which supports tighter routing inside enclosures, and a dynamic bend radius of 7.5 × D for repeated motion in drag-chain applications. This combination helps the jacket preserve conductor spacing and supports clean separation between motor power and auxiliary signals during continuous flexing.

For applications with high duty cycles, the cable is rated for 5,000,000 dynamic bending cycles. Operation is permitted from -30 °C to 80 °C, and storage uses the same temperature range. On the motor end, a factory-installed RLK1301 terminal box connector locks to compatible servo housings and helps maintain strain relief at the machine interface. This temperature range supports use in unheated storage areas as well as warm operating environments, while the preassembled ends reduce handling of individual conductors during installation.
