RKL4713 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL4713 is a flexible motor power cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It links an RLK1201 motor connector to an RLS0723/K10 controller plug so three-phase power and auxiliary signals can move reliably between the drive electronics and the servo motor. In automated machinery, the cable routes through moving drag chains and maintains electrical integrity while axes accelerate, decelerate, and reverse. This arrangement supports a single cable run between the controller and motor, which helps keep moving axis wiring organized.

Mechanical service life is supported by INK0605 bulk cable that survives 5 million flex cycles when installed in energy-chain guides. The cable carries the drive's main current on four conductors rated at 10.0 mm², arranged in a 4 × 10.0 mm² + (2 × 1.0 mm²) StC + (2 × 1.5 mm²) StC layout. The outside diameter is 22.2 mm, and manufacturing tolerance holds it to ±1.0 mm for predictable clamping. During motion, the assembly follows a minimum bend radius of 7.5 × D, which helps reduce copper fatigue during high-speed travel. That conductor arrangement allows the same assembly to carry motor power and auxiliary circuits through the same moving cable path. The matched RLS0723/K10 connector provides controller-side strain relief and reduces field assembly work.

In stationary phases, the cable can be bent to a tighter radius of 5 × D, which supports compact cabinet routing before the chain begins to travel. Two signal pairs are included for temperature or brake circuits; the first pair uses conductors of 1.0 mm², while the second pair uses 1.5 mm² strands for higher auxiliary current. A tough PUR outer jacket resists oil and coolant exposure when the harness is pulled through machine frames. The combined power and signal layout lets one cable carry motor power and auxiliary functions without additional sleeves or conduits. This suits machines where both power delivery and low-level control signals must follow the same moving route.
