RKL4702 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL4702 is a motor power cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It serves as the fixed link between an Indramat controller and a servo motor, carrying the three-phase supply and auxiliary conductors required for drive operation inside automated machinery. By using pre-terminated ends that mate directly with the specified controller and motor hardware, the cable reduces wiring errors on assembly lines, robots, and material-handling stations.

This cable leaves the factory in a Ready-Made configuration, so no field crimping or overmolding is needed before it is routed in an energy chain. Its copper bundle follows the INDRAMAT bulk design code INK0650 and uses insulation materials compatible with industrial oils and coolants. The main power legs use a cross-section of 1.5 mm², allowing standard drives in the medium current class to reach full torque without excessive voltage drop. The cable is rated for 5,000,000 flex cycles, making the harness suitable for constant-motion axes. Controller coding K02 matches the pin layout used by compatible Rexroth drive models, and the cabinet side is terminated with an RLS0721 plug that locks by a quarter-turn to maintain contact integrity during vibration.

The auxiliary encoder supply returns through a conductor sized at 0.75 mm², which reduces bulk while still meeting signal voltage limits. Classified as the Basic model, the sheath omits additional shielding layers, so it is intended for installations where parallel feedback or sensor lines are routed in separate channels. A dynamic bending radius of 7.5xD supports continuous carrier movement, while a static bend of 5xD applies to fixed cabinet routing. On the motor end, an RLK1201 terminal box interface provides screw terminals that match the sealing system on Indramat synchronous servomotors and complete the power loop without splices.
