RKL4700 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL4700 is a motor power cable manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It links servo drives to synchronous motors, carrying three-phase power and feedback conductors so that motion axes in automated equipment receive stable voltage and signal continuity. This cable is supplied as bulk type INK0653, which identifies the core, shield, and insulation design used for Rexroth drive systems.

A compact outside diameter of 12.0 mm allows routing through energy chains and machine frames without occupying excess space. Its loop resistance is limited to 19.5 ?/km at 20 °C, which helps reduce voltage drop over long runs and supports consistent motor torque. The integrated control pair uses a cross-section of 0.75 mm², providing adequate area for brake release or temperature sensor lines while keeping the bundle flexible. On the cabinet side, a keyed connector RLS0721/K01 supports quick installation and maintains contact integrity under vibration. The cable also uses 1.0 mm² power cores, a dedicated protective conductor, and a three-phase layout for typical inverter outputs up to 8 A per conductor.

Electrical behavior is further stabilized by a line-to-shield capacitance of 0.6 nF/m, which limits reactive current and eases the burden on the drive's output filters. A tough, halogen-free jacket made of PUR withstands oils and weld spatter, and it remains pliable down to -25 °C. For static installation, the minimum bend radius is 5 × D, so the cable can pass through tight cabinet corners, while dynamic routing accepts 7.5 × D in drag chains. The power cores are rated for 300/500 V, matching low-voltage servo applications and helping prevent insulation overstress during regeneration events. An RLK1201 plug is fitted on the motor end, and its RAL 2003 orange color makes the connection easy to identify.
