Bosch Rexroth Indramat produces the RKL4639, a dedicated motor power cable in the RKL Motor Power Cables series. The cable connects servo inverters to their respective motors in automated lines, delivering three-phase power and carrying auxiliary pairs required for brake release or temperature monitoring. It is intended for industrial environments where repeated movement, chemical exposure, and tight routing spaces are expected. This layout keeps motor power and support circuits together, which simplifies cable routing between the drive cabinet and the moving axis. The assembly's flexible jacket and controlled geometry help it move through drag-chain carriers, articulated robot arms, and fixed machine bed conduits without becoming unnecessarily bulky.

A typical capacitance of 1.0 nF/m helps limit displacement currents at high switching frequencies. Copper conductors exhibit a resistance of 1.91 ?/km at 20 °C, which helps reduce voltage drop across common machine lengths. The conductor arrangement of 2x1.0 + 2x1.5 mm² combines auxiliary and power cores in one cable while preserving flexibility for moving applications. An outside diameter of 22.2 ± 1.0 mm lets the cable fit standard drag-chain separators and routing hardware. A PUR sheath resists cutting oil, coolant, and abrasion during prolonged machine duty.

Dynamic service life is rated for 5 million bending cycles, supporting repetitive motion in automated equipment. For static installation, the cable tolerates ambient temperatures from -30 to +40 °C, while flexible runs remain operational between -20 to +40 °C. The same temperature range supports storage without promoting premature jacket cracking or stiffness changes. Its orange (RAL 2003) jacket remains easy to identify inside control cabinets and production cells. The visible jacket color also helps separate motor power cabling from encoder and control wiring in crowded machine spaces.
