RKL4627 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL4627 is a flexible motor power cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It is supplied as a factory-terminated assembly that links servo drives to motors or junction boxes in automated machinery. The assembly is intended for servo systems that require reliable motor power delivery during repeated axis movement. By carrying three-phase power through matched conductors and shielding, the cable helps maintain electromagnetic compatibility inside motion-control cabinets and along moving axes.

The cable is classified as a Ready-Made assembly, meaning the insulation, shielding, and terminations are completed before delivery. It carries the internal designation Power Cable, which separates it from feedback or brake leads, and its construction level is Basic. Because the ends are already prepared, the cable can be installed without stripping the main conductors at the cable ends. That arrangement also helps keep motor power wiring separate from low-level signal cabling in the same machine. Mechanical life is rated for 5,000,000 bending cycles, supporting continuous carrier-chain movement on pick-and-place gantries or palletizers. On the drive end, stranded conductors are fitted with Ferrules, which reduce strand splay and improve contact in screw terminals.

The motor-side connector is the keyed circular plug identified as RLS0723, so the motor connection can be attached or removed without re-terminating wires. The keyed format also helps align the connection correctly at the motor interface. Cable flexibility under motion requires a dynamic bending radius of 7.5 x D, while static routing inside cabinets permits a minimum radius of 5 x D. Continuous operation is permitted up to 80 °C, while startup is allowed down to -30 °C without jacket embrittlement. These bending and temperature limits support use in unheated plants as well as on moving linear stages and robot wrists.
