RKL4625 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL4625 motor power cable is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and belongs to the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It is used between an Indramat drive and the terminal box of a synchronous or induction motor, supplying three-phase power together with low-level control pairs for feedback and brake release functions in industrial automation layouts. The design combines medium-voltage insulation with flexible mechanical properties so the assembly can be installed in cable tracks on gantries, presses, and packaging machines without additional conduit.

It is supplied in bulk as type INK0667, which indicates the conductor and shielding layout. The power cores each measure 35.0 mm², and their copper has a resistance of 0.554 ?/km at 20 °C, which helps limit voltage drop over long machine runs. Two shielded control pairs rated at 2 pairs × 1.5 mm² share the same sheath for temperature sensor or brake wiring. High visibility is provided by the orange jacket coded RAL 2003, while the outer sheath of PUR resists oil and abrasion encountered in drag chains. The insulation system tolerates conductor temperatures up to 90 °C, and the auxiliary circuits may be energized at 300 V while the three-phase cores carry up to 300/500 V according to IEC cable classes. A specific capacitance of 1.2 nF/m must be considered when sizing drive filters to prevent common-mode current.

For installation, the static bend radius must not fall below 154 mm, while applications with continuous movement require a minimum of 231 mm. The overall diameter of 30.8 mm must be considered when selecting glands, clamps, or drag-chain cavities to avoid jacket compression. Adhering to these limits preserves conductor geometry and shielding integrity, which helps maintain consistent impedance along the run. The cable terminates directly in the motor's terminal box, which eliminates plug adapters in harsh-duty cells.
