RKL4611 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the RKL4611, a flexible member of the RKL Motor Power Cables series. The cable is intended for dynamic routing between drive controllers and servo motors, allowing moving axes to receive power and auxiliary signals with low susceptibility to electrical interference. Its jacket and conductor system support constant motion in cable carriers, so the assembly can follow linear machine travel and similar repetitive movement without becoming overly rigid. Because power and signal paths are carried in one assembly, it fits automated packaging, machining, and material-handling equipment where clean cable management is important.

The conductor layout of 4x16.0 mm² + 2x(2x1.5 mm²) StC separates motor power cores from twisted, shielded signal pairs to help minimize crosstalk. This arrangement keeps high-current conductors apart from lower-level control circuits, which helps maintain stable signal transmission during repeated motion. An overall diameter of 25.5 mm helps determine gland and carrier space, while fine-wire stranding keeps the cable flexible through continuous travel. Mechanical endurance reaches 5,000,000 bending cycles, and the jacket can flex to a dynamic bend radius of 7.5 × D during movement. The outer jacket is finished in Orange (RAL 2003), which makes the cable easier to identify inside crowded machine assemblies.

For stationary routing, the minimum bend radius is 5 × D. The insulation supports motor supply voltage up to 300/500 V, while the auxiliary pairs carry a separate 300/300 V rating. Fixed installation is suitable from -30 °C to 40 °C, and flexing service is suitable from -20 °C to 40 °C in typical indoor machine environments. Drive-side terminations use ferrules, and the motor end uses a Plug Connector RLS0723 for a secure connection. The sheath is made of PUR (adhesion-free, matte), which resists oils, coolants, and abrasion and helps prevent the cable from sticking to adjacent runs in tight carriers.
