Bosch Rexroth Indramat produces the RKL4605 within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. The product is a flexible motor power cable intended for routing energy from drive amplifiers to servo motors in dynamic automation axes. Its construction and mating interface support integration with Indramat drive systems by providing prefabricated terminations. The cable is intended for moving machine sections where repeated flexing would quickly wear standard fixed-installation wiring. It is qualified for installation in cable tracks that undergo constant acceleration and deceleration, making it suitable for pick-and-place gantries.

The mechanical life is characterized by 5,000,000 bending cycles when operated within its motion limits. Under static installation the minimum bend radius is 5 x D, while dynamic applications require a radius of 7.5 x D to avoid conductor fatigue. A matte, adhesion-free PUR (adhesion-free, matte) outer jacket protects the cores from oil and coolant exposure and slides easily in drag-chain channels. The jacket also helps the cable move freely through carriers during continuous travel. Overall cable diameter is 17.0 mm, and the INK0603 bulk cable uses a stranded conductor design. Power transmission relies on a four-conductor arrangement, and ferrule terminations on the drive side simplify cabinet wiring.

The electrical properties support stable power transmission and consistent performance in moving cable routes.
