RKL4595 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL4595 cable is a motor power cable supplied by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It links drive controllers to synchronous or induction motors and carries three-phase power together with auxiliary signals used in automated machinery. Its construction is intended for dynamic routing in drag chains and cable trays that move with machine axes, so electrical delivery remains stable through repeated travel cycles. Because the cable combines power and control leads in one sheath, only a single assembly needs to be routed through the machine.

The cable has an outer diameter of 22.2 mm and uses four power cores sized at 4 × 10.0 mm² inside a shielded polyurethane jacket. Two auxiliary conductor groups rated at 2 × 1.0 + 2 × 1.5 mm² are included in the same jacket to carry brake and other control signals without a separate harness. The cable has a DC loop resistance of 1.91 ?/km at 20 °C, which helps when calculating voltage drop on long machine runs. During continuous motion, the assembly can handle direction changes when the dynamic bend radius is kept at 7.5 × D. A molded RLS0723 plug connects to the drive controller, and the PUR jacket resists cutting fluids in moving-cable applications.

For stationary routing, the minimum bend radius is 5 × D, which suits installations where the cable is laid once and then secured in place. In dynamic carriers, the design withstands up to 5,000,000 bending cycles, supporting repeated motion in multi-shift production equipment. The PUR sheath remains flexible at temperatures down to -20 °C and stays stable up to +40 °C during flexing, so the cable can operate in unheated areas as well as lightly warmed enclosures. These limits apply while the cable is in motion and help preserve reliable performance during continuous machine travel.
