Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the RKL4587 flexible motor power cable in the RKL Motor Power Cables series. The product combines four power conductors and four auxiliary control cores in a single moving-axis cable assembly intended for energy-chain and gantry applications. By delivering both drive current and auxiliary signals through one jacket, the cable simplifies routing inside machine tools, pick-and-place modules, and other automated units that demand coordinated motion. Its halogen-free design supports installations in environments where low toxic gas emissions during a fire are required.

Each power core has a copper cross-section of 25.0 mm², allowing the cable to carry high motor currents without excessive voltage drop. The outer diameter measures 29.8 mm, so drag-chain channels must accommodate that dimension for unobstructed movement. During rapid positioning cycles, the cable withstands accelerations up to 10 m/s², and its construction supports continuous travel at 5 m/s along horizontal or vertical guides.
