The RKL4577 is a motor power cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for use within its RKL Motor Power Cables series. It serves as the fixed or dynamic link that transfers three-phase power from an inverter or drive to a synchronous or induction motor installed in automated machinery. By matching the electrical and mechanical demands of moving axes, this cable supports stable power transmission and helps reduce disruption in drag-chain or stationary layouts used on industrial equipment.

The copper conductors have a cross-section of 16.0 mm², providing low impedance for high current loads while keeping voltage drop within drive tolerances. For insulation coordination, the power cores are rated to 600 V AC, allowing direct connection to standard industrial inverters. Overall capacitance is limited to 1.2 nF/m, which reduces reactive current and eases the burden on drive output filters during long runs. Direct current losses are constrained by a conductor resistance of 1.21 ?/km at 20 °C, supporting efficient continuous duty. A PUR, adhesion-free matte jacket surrounds an outer diameter of 25.5 mm, giving the cable oil resistance and helping it separate cleanly from adjacent lines in shared carriers. For installation that never moves, the cable can be bent down to 5 x D without exceeding stress limits, while in constantly moving carrier systems the minimum dynamic loop increases to 7.5 x D. In fixed routing, the conductors can withstand temperatures up to +90 °C, while flexible sections are limited to +80 °C so heat and motion do not accelerate jacket wear. Operation remains possible at ambient temperatures as low as -20 °C during startup in unheated halls. This temperature range supports use after cold idle periods, and the stated bend limits apply to both stationary runs and continuously moving cable carriers.
