RKL4570 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL4570 is a ready-made motor power cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It is intended for fixed installation between a controller and a motor terminal box, carrying three-phase power and auxiliary control lines in one assembly. This arrangement reduces the number of separate cables in the machine layout and keeps routing simpler inside automation cabinets and along the machine frame. Factory-crimped lugs at both ends allow the cable to be connected directly to the required termination points without additional field assembly.

This cable uses power conductors rated for 600 V AC, allowing connection to common industrial drive outputs. The cable has an outside diameter of 25.5 mm, so conduit entries and cable carriers must accommodate that size, and each phase core provides 16.0 mm² of copper to support current flow with low voltage drop. Long cable runs are supported by a conductor resistance of 1.21 ?/km and a discharge capacity of 1.2 nF/m, which help the drive maintain stable electrical behavior over distance. A separate set of shielded control pairs can carry brake release or temperature sensor signals without requiring another harness.

The internal arrangement follows the 4x16.0 + 2x(2x1.5) StC construction, combining four power cores with two twisted, shielded control pairs under one outer jacket. High visibility is provided by the RAL 2003 (Orange) outer sheath, and the PUR (adhesion-free, matte) jacket resists oil and coolant while moving freely against adjacent surfaces. Final machine terminations use ring terminals on both ends, and the cable is prepared for direct landing in the motor terminal box. This layout keeps power and auxiliary connections together in one cable assembly and supports direct installation on the drive PE bar and the motor earth stud.
