RKL4568 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL4568 motor power cable is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It links drive amplifiers to motors in automated machinery, carrying power and auxiliary conductors through drag-chain paths and fixed cabinet runs. The cable's construction, conductor size, and polyurethane sheath are matched to the electrical and mechanical demands commonly found in industrial motion systems. This layout lets one cable carry motor power together with auxiliary signals, reducing the need for separate routed lines between the drive and motor.

The three-phase cores have a cross-section of 10.0 mm², giving the cable suitable current-carrying capacity for motor power conductors. Integrated auxiliaries sized at 2x1.0 mm² + 2x1.5 mm² support brake release or sensor feedback without an additional harness. When the cable is installed in a fixed tray, a minimum bend of 5 x D is recommended to protect the insulation layers. The outer jacket is made of PUR (adhesion-free, matte), which provides oil resistance and low friction against guide channels. Conductors can operate continuously at 90 °C in fixed applications, and the control pairs are insulated for 300/300 V for common I/O circuits.

During repetitive motion, the allowable bend radius is 7.5 x D, helping limit strand fatigue while fitting standard chain pitches. Loop resistance is 1.91 ohm/km, which allows voltage-drop estimates over longer runs. The power cores sustain the full 300/500 V rating during movement, and the high-visibility orange jacket in RAL 2003 helps distinguish the cable from pneumatic or data lines. Under flexing service, conductor temperature is limited to 80 °C to help preserve jacket elasticity and insulation integrity during continuous motion.
