RKL4566 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL4566 is a dedicated motor power cable manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It supplies three-phase power and auxiliary signals between servo drives and synchronous motors, allowing automated machines to position quickly while keeping wiring compact. By combining power conductors and control cores in one sheath, it reduces cable clutter and simplifies routing through moving cable tracks. This layout supports machine sections where limited installation space and repeated motion would make separate cable runs less practical.

Its conductor bundle uses the arrangement 4x10.0+(2x1.0)StC+(2x1.5)StC mm², with four 10 mm² power leads and two shielded control pairs for monitoring or brake-related circuits. Copper strand design limits loop losses to 1.91 ?/km, helping reduce voltage drop on long axes and maintain stable motor supply. The cable can be installed statically with a minimum bend radius of 5 × D and flexed in energy chains down to 7.5 × D, which supports repeated movement without excessive conductor stress. A maximum line rating of 600 V AC and an overall diameter of 22.2 mm suit common industrial drive systems, while the molded INS0482/L10 power plug and drag-chain suitability support quick integration into moving assemblies.

The outer sheath is extruded from PUR, giving the cable resistance to abrasion, oil, and wear in enclosed machinery. Separate auxiliary pairs operate on 300 V insulation so control or monitoring circuits can run beside the motor phases without requiring a separate conduit. Each phase conductor has a cross-sectional area of 10.0 mm², balancing current capacity with the flexibility needed for repeated motion.
