Bosch Rexroth Indramat supplies the RKL4561 motor power cable as part of its RKL Motor Power Cables series. Intended for servo connection, the cable distributes main phase current, protective earth, and feedback auxiliaries between a drive and its motor in automated assembly lines, palletizers, and transfer modules. Its integrated layout minimizes separate wiring runs and keeps signal integrity high during continuous motion and frequent accelerations common in industrial automation.

The cable's bulk material is classified as type INK0605, which identifies the insulation, shielding, and flame behavior used for Rexroth drive systems. Three power conductors plus protective earth, noted as 3 + PE, each have a cross section of 10.0 mm², so the assembly can handle motor currents associated with mid-frame synchronous units. The molded adhesion-free PUR jacket measures 22.2 mm in overall diameter and is colored RAL 2003 (orange) for quick visual separation from signal harnesses. Rated voltage limits are 300/500 V for the power cores and 300/300 V for the paired control cores, allowing the same cable to carry auxiliary circuits. The auxiliary pairs are sized 2×1.0 mm² and 2×1.5 mm² to support brake release and thermal sensor loops without excessive voltage drop.

The RKL4561 maintains electrical performance over long runs through a capacitance of 1.0 nF/m and a conductor resistance of 1.91 ?/km at 20 °C, keeping reactive and ohmic losses within drive tolerance. For installation, it accepts a fixed bend radius of 5 × D and a dynamic radius of 7.5 × D, enabling use inside compact machine frames. Its adhesion-free outer sheath limits dust buildup and supports repetitive motion, so the cable can be laid in drag chains without additional armor. This outer sheath also reduces sticking between adjacent cable runs during movement.
