The Bosch Rexroth Indramat RKL4545 is a motor power cable supplied in the RKL Motor Power Cables series and intended for routing power and auxiliary lines between drive controllers and servo motors in automated machinery. Its design supports continuous motion and high-cycle positioning equipment where dependable conductor integrity is required throughout frequent bending and flexing cycles. It is suited to machine layouts that route one cable assembly through moving sections of equipment, because the power and support conductors remain grouped in a single jacketed run.

The cable contains four power conductors, each with a cross-section of 25.0 mm², so it can carry drive currents without excessive heating. A conductor resistance of 0.78 ?/km limits voltage drop along long cable runs and helps maintain motor performance under load. The outer PUR jacket resists oil and coolant and gives the cable an overall diameter of 29.8 mm, which is useful when routing the cable through trays, cabinet entries, and strain-relief hardware. Installation rules cite a minimum fixed bend radius of 5 × D and a dynamic bend radius of 7.5 × D; these clearances help protect the conductor bundle from compression and tensile stress during stationary routing or repeated machine motion.

Separate from the power cores, the assembly includes four control wires with a cross-section of 1.5 mm² for brake release or temperature sensor signals. Suitability for drag chain use means the sheath and internal fillers are intended to withstand repeated travel in cable carriers without premature jacket damage or twisting. The conductors can reach 90 °C in fixed installation and 80 °C during motion, reflecting the different thermal conditions that apply when the cable is clamped in place versus continuously flexed. That separation of power cores and control wires lets the assembly carry motor current and supporting control functions through the same moving cable path.
