The RKL4537 power and control cable is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. Designed for servo installations, the cable carries three-phase motor current and the associated control signals between a drive controller and a synchronous motor in automated machinery. This combined layout lets one cable assembly handle motor power and auxiliary circuits in moving machine axes without requiring separate routing paths. It is intended for industrial automation equipment with repeated axis movement and limited installation space.

Its conductor set follows the 4x2.5 mm² + 2x(2x1.0 mm²)StC layout, providing four 2.5 mm² power cores and two shielded twisted pairs for brake or temperature channels. Despite this composite structure, the overall outer diameter stays at 14.8 mm, which eases routing through machine conduits and cable carriers. Line-to-shield capacitance is 0.7 nF/m, limiting reactive losses on long runs, while loop resistance is 7.98 ?/km, which helps reduce voltage drop under load. A jacket of PUR (adhesion-free, matte) resists abrasion and avoids sticking to adjacent cables in energy-chain assemblies. The paired control conductors allow auxiliary motor functions to travel in the same jacket as the power leads, and conductor temperatures may reach 90 °C in fixed routing and 80 °C while flexing without degrading insulation or conductor plating.

For dynamic motion axes, the cable withstands 5 million continuous bending cycles, matching the service life expected in high-speed drag chains. The bulk cable designation INK0602 identifies the base cable, and the installed INS0482 connectors provide keyed mating for secure connection to compatible equipment. Both power and control cores are rated for 600 V AC, allowing the same cable assembly to carry motor power and auxiliary circuits in one run. The keyed connector arrangement also helps maintain correct orientation when the cable is connected to matching drive and motor interfaces.
