RKL4535 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL4535 is a motor power cable assembled by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It carries three power conductors, a protective earth, and auxiliary control cores so a drive controller can supply energy and monitoring signals to an Indramat servo motor in an automated cell. The cable design supports fixed installation as well as moderate drag-chain motion, giving one part number for both static cabinet routing and moving axis connections. This arrangement supports cleaner routing between the cabinet and the motor while keeping power and auxiliary circuits in one jacket.

For panel installations, the minimum bending radius is 5 × D, allowing tight routing without exceeding conductor strain limits. A PUR sheath resists oils and abrasion while maintaining flexibility. Each power core is sized at 16.0 mm², which helps keep voltage drop low on high-current servo axes. Mating to the motor is completed through an 11-pin bayonet lock connector that secures quickly and provides vibration-resistant latching. Four control conductors grouped as 4 × 1.5 mm² are included for temperature sensors or brake release signals, eliminating the need for a separate auxiliary lead.

When the cable must move with a linear slide or rotary table, the dynamic routing limit increases to 7.5 × D, which helps protect the insulation during cyclic motion. Continuous conductor temperature may reach +90 °C in fixed routing, matching Class F motor lead ratings and supporting cabinet spaces with elevated ambient heat. The orange sheath has an outer diameter of 25.5 mm, which helps with tray fill calculations and clamp selection. Charge storage is minimized by a discharge capacitance of 1.2 nF/m, reducing reactive current on longer runs and easing drive output filtering. The cable also has a listed conductor resistance of 1.21 ?/km, a 3 + PE contact arrangement, and 600 VAC ratings for both power and control pairs.
