RKL4530 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL4530 motor power cable is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RKL Motor Power Cables series. This cable carries three-phase drive current and low-level control signals between an IndraDrive inverter and its matched servo motor. It is built for dynamic routing within drag-chain systems commonly found in pick-and-place gantries, packaging lines, and CNC axes, where continual motion and electrical integrity are required. By combining motor power conductors and auxiliary control wiring in one moving assembly, it supports compact cable routing along axes that travel repeatedly through the same path.

To survive repetitive carrier travel, the cable is rated for 5,000,000 bending cycles in a drag-chain environment. Each of its four power cores has a cross-section of 4 x 25.0 mm², and the conductor resistance is 0.78 ?/km, which helps limit resistive losses over longer runs. Two shielded control pairs with 2 x (2 x 1.5 mm²) conductors are integrated so that brake or motor temperature signals can travel beside the main phases without a separate cable. The overall diameter of 29.8 mm helps size carrier cavities and gland plates, while the outer sheathing is colored RAL 2003 (orange) for easy visual identification in mixed-media cable trays. The cable is suitable for drag-chain operation, so its internal layer arrangement helps resist corkscrewing and keeps electrical characteristics stable during repeated acceleration and reversal.

The jacket material is PUR, which gives the assembly abrasion resistance, coolant tolerance, and low-halogen content for use in machine tool enclosures. For fixed routing, the minimum permitted bend radius is 149 mm, while dynamic drag-chain loops must observe a radius of 223.5 mm to reduce conductor fatigue during motion. The molded power side uses the INS0382/C25 connector, allowing direct mating with Rexroth MSK, MKE, or MDD motors without field crimping. This termination style keeps the motor connection consistent and supports clean routing where cables must flex repeatedly near the machine axis.
