The RKL4525 motor power cable is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It delivers power and auxiliary control signals between drive amplifiers and servomotors in automated machinery, allowing coordinated motion while tolerating continuous movement inside cable carriers. The cable contains three power conductors and integrated control pairs in a single jacket, simplifying installation in assembly lines, pick-and-place robots, and packaging equipment. This layout keeps the drive connection compact and reduces the number of separate cable runs throughout the machine.

Designed for repeated motion, the cable withstands 5,000,000 flex cycles when installed in a drag chain. Its circular profile measures 14.8 mm in outer diameter, making it narrow enough for densely packed carrier cavities while still housing the primary power cores of 2.5 mm² cross-section. A separate control pair with 1.0 mm² conductors is routed alongside, allowing temperature sensors or brake release lines to share the same sheath. The jacket is made of PUR with an adhesion-free matte surface, so it slides smoothly against guide channels without collecting lubricants or chips.

Electrical characteristics are optimized for servo inverter outputs. The line capacitance is 0.7 nF/m, which keeps reactive current low during high-frequency pulse-width modulation, and copper resistance is 7.98 ?/km at 20 °C to limit I²R losses over typical machine lengths. During dynamic operation, the cable may bend down to 7.5 × D without kinking, and its outer sheath is colored RAL 2003 orange for quick identification in control cabinets. Because it is approved for drag-chain routing, the cable can be used in high-speed gantries or pick-and-place axes without external protective tubing during normal operation.
