The RKL4524 cable is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and belongs to the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It is a flexible multi-core assembly intended to supply three-phase power and low-level control signals to servomotors mounted on moving axes. By integrating the power and auxiliary cores inside a single jacket, the product simplifies wiring in gantries, linear modules, and other industrial automation equipment that experience continuous motion. Combining these circuits in one cable also reduces separate routing paths and keeps moving cable runs more compact inside carriers and machine assemblies.

Electrical transmission capacity starts with a 4x10.0 + 2x1.0 + 2x1.5 mm² core layout, where the first group forms the power phases and protective conductor. Within that bundle, the dedicated phase lines use a 10.0 mm² power conductor cross-section, giving low voltage drop at typical servo currents. Two auxiliary leads occupy the 1.0 mm² control positions numbered 5 and 6, while paired 1.5 mm² cores handle temperature sensors or diagnostic signals. Copper loss over distance is limited by a conductor resistance of 1.91 Ohm/km, supporting stable drive regulation. The cable has an overall diameter of 22.2 mm, and its matte PUR jacket resists oils and weld splatter without adhering to guide channels. This combination supports repeated motion in automated equipment where the cable must flex while maintaining consistent electrical performance.

The cable is built for continuous movement on automated axes. It endures 5 million bending cycles in energy-chain service, making it suitable for high-duty pick-and-place axes. A linear mass of 0.870 kg/m adds to the moving load carried by cable tracks and axis hardware during travel. Termination on the motor side is performed through an eleven-pin connector, so the harness mates with an interface housing that uses 11 pins with soldered contacts. The sheath is colored RAL 2003 (orange), which supports clear visual identification in machine wiring areas. The soldered-contact connector arrangement also provides a fixed motor-side interface for repeated motion service.
