RKL4519 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL4519 cable is a ready-made motor power cable manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It links an IndraDrive controller to a synchronous servo motor, carrying three-phase power, protective earth, and auxiliary control lines in automated machinery. The product is intended for continuous flexing in energy-chain installations where coordinated motion between moving axes must remain reliable over long service intervals. Its preassembled format also reduces field wiring at the motor and controller ends, which helps keep routing orderly in compact machine layouts.

For mechanical endurance, the cable is approved for 5,000,000 bending cycles, allowing repeated travel in drag chains without conductor fatigue. During motion, the minimum bending radius is 7.5 × D, and when the machine is stationary, the cable can be bent to 5 × D. The three phase cores each have a conductor cross-section of 35.0 mm², which helps limit voltage drop at high motor current. Four control conductors use a cross-section of 1.5 mm² to carry signals such as brake release, temperature monitoring, or enable functions. This conductor arrangement supports both power transmission and auxiliary signal routing in dynamic servo applications.

The cable operates at temperatures from -30 °C to 80 °C, so it can be used in both cold storage areas and warmer electrical enclosures. On the controller side, it uses an RLS0723 connector, while the motor side uses an RLK0006 connection with ferrules and ring terminals for direct attachment to compatible terminal boxes. The internal layout includes three phase conductors, four control conductors, and one protective earth conductor, arranged to support stable flexing during repeated motion. This layout helps maintain conductor position and reduces uneven mechanical stress as the cable cycles through travel in an energy chain.
