The RKL4515 motor power cable is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It links servo drives to their motors and carries three-phase energy along with low-level control signals in automated production lines. By combining power and control cores inside a PUR jacket, the cable simplifies routing in machines that use dynamic axes, pick-and-place gantries, or material-handling robots. This combined layout also reduces the need for separate cable runs between the drive and motor connection points.

The cable supports a line voltage of 600 V AC, a rating that covers most inverter outputs used on synchronous and induction motors. Each power core has a cross-section of 16.0 mm², providing adequate current capacity while limiting thermal rise during continuous operation. Resistance is specified as 1.21 ?/km at 20 °C, so voltage drop remains controlled over moderate cable lengths. With an outside diameter of 25.5 mm, the cable fits standard ducts and strain-relief hardware. A mutual capacitance of 1.2 nF/m influences drive output behavior because higher cable capacitance can increase common-mode currents. The PUR jacket resists oil and abrasion, and the fixed-installation bend radius of five times the diameter helps protect the conductors in dress packs.

For moving applications, the integrated 24 V cores use a control cross-section of 1.5 mm² to carry brake or sensor signals with low loss while sharing the same drag chain. The cable can travel horizontally up to 50 m and withstand carrier speeds of 5 m/s, making it suitable for long transfer lines and gantry bridges. A dynamic bend radius of 7.5 × D limits mechanical stress during repeated motion. The wire insulation endures conductor temperatures to +90 °C in fixed routing and 80 °C under flexing duty. It is suited for continuous-motion cable chains used in packaging, printing, and assembly equipment.
