The RKL4511 power cable is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and belongs to the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It links an RLS controller port to an RLK motor plug, routing three-phase energy and auxiliary signals between cabinet-mounted drives and moving servo axes in automated machinery. By combining power cores with twisted control pairs inside a flexible PUR jacket, the cable simplifies installation and supports temperature sensing, brake actuation, and other auxiliary functions while equipment cycles through continuous linear and torsional motion.

Mechanical endurance is a primary feature: the cable is rated for 5,000,000 flex cycles, so it maintains conductor integrity during repetitive axis travel in long-life drag-chain layouts. An outside diameter of 14.8 mm sets the required carrier slot width and bend radius limits. Each 2.5 mm² copper conductor has a direct-current resistance of 7.98 ?/km, limiting voltage drop over extended runs, while the overall geometry yields a line-to-shield discharge capacitance of 0.7 nF/m to keep drive-side filters within design margins. For the power path, the insulation system supports a continuous line-to-line potential of 600 V AC, certified under UL regulations for industrial control equipment. These properties allow the assembly to carry servo currents without overheating and to preserve signal quality when inverter pulses reach several kilohertz.

Electrical architecture is organized around 4 power cores of 2.5 mm² that deliver motor phase and protective earth, plus 2 control pairs of 1.0 mm² reserved for temperature sensors, brakes, or holding relays. A PUR outer sheath guards these elements against oil and coolant while remaining adhesion-free for easy drag-chain motion. Its RAL 2003 orange color improves line identification inside crowded cabinets. The cable is approved for installation in moving drag chains and terminates with designated RLS0721/K03 and RLK0005 connectors for the controller and motor sides.
