The RKL4455 is a motor power cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for its RKL Motor Power Cables series. In industrial automation, this component routes three-phase drive power to synchronous or induction motors while tolerating continuous motion inside energy chains, robots, and gantry axes. Correct matching between drive and motor circuits reduces voltage loss and ensures that dynamic axes receive stable current under variable load conditions.

Mechanical performance starts with a fixed bending radius of 5 × D, allowing tight placement in stationary conduits without stressing the conductors. During repetitive motion, the permitted radius relaxes to 7.5 × D, which lowers copper fatigue when the cable cycles in moving carriers. The outside diameter is 25.5 mm, so glands and clamps must be sized accordingly. Four power cores with a cross-section of 16.0 mm² limit resistive heating, and a loop resistance of 1.21 ?/km indicates the expected voltage drop over longer runs.
