RKL4443 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL4443 is a motor power cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It transmits drive power and auxiliary control signals between a servo amplifier and its corresponding motor in automated machinery, while maintaining electrical integrity under dynamic motion and cabinet routing constraints. This arrangement allows one cable assembly to carry motor phases and auxiliary circuits along the same route, which helps simplify machine wiring. An orange RAL 2003 jacket with the INK0604 insulation profile provides abrasion resistance and improves visibility on the factory floor.

The cable's distributed capacitance is rated at 0.8 nF/m, which helps predict reactive load on the drive output during long cable runs. Longitudinal copper losses are limited by a conductor resistance of 3.30 ?/km at 20 °C, supporting stable voltage at the motor terminals. The power cores are suitable for systems that operate up to 300/500 V, and each phase uses a cross-section of 6.0 mm² for current levels common in medium-frame synchronous motors. For moving cable chains, the minimum bending radius is 7.5 × D, so the cable can flex during operation without excessive mechanical stress.

The main power bundle contains 4 conductors arranged symmetrically, and two control pairs sized at 2x1.0 mm² + 2x1.5 mm² are included for temperature sensors or brakes. This layout allows auxiliary functions to be routed with the power conductors instead of requiring a separate cable for those signals. The outer sheath is PUR, giving chemical resistance against oils and coolants encountered in machine tools. In addition, the compound is halogen-free, so combustion does not release corrosive gases inside electrical enclosures. In fixed routing, a 5 × D static bend allowance can be used to conserve cabinet space without harming conductor integrity or insulation life.
