RKL4436 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

Bosch Rexroth Indramat produces the RKL4436 motor power cable as part of the RKL Motor Power Cables series. The cable links servo drives to synchronous motors in automated machinery, carrying three-phase power and auxiliary lines in a single run. Its construction is intended for moving machine axes where constant flexing, oil splash, and electrical noise are present. Combining motor power conductors and control circuits in one jacket helps keep cable routing compact on conveyors, packaging equipment, and pick-and-place stations without adding separate moving cable runs.

Four stranded copper cores with a cross-section of 4x10.0 mm² provide the main current path to the motor. These conductors are rated for line voltage up to 300/500 V, allowing direct connection to low-voltage inverter outputs. DC resistance at 20 °C is 1.91 ?/km, which helps limit voltage loss along typical machine cable lengths. A polyurethane outer sheath identified as PUR resists abrasion and common industrial fluids, and the cable has an overall diameter of 22.2 mm. The round profile also supports smooth movement through drag-chain guides and standard cable glands.

Low mutual capacitance of 1.0 nF/m helps the cable handle fast switching edges without excessive reactive loading on the drive output. The cable can operate continuously in fixed installations up to +90 °C, and it remains functional in moving applications at 80 °C. The outer jacket is Orange (RAL 2003), which makes the cable easy to identify in crowded machine layouts, and the matte surface helps reduce sticking where cables run close together. Being halogen-free and oil resistant, the jacket suits enclosed equipment and production areas. Separate control pairs are included for brake or sensor circuits, and their insulation supports the auxiliary voltage level used by those lines.
