RKL4419 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

Bosch Rexroth Indramat supplies the RKL4419 motor power cable as a member of the RKL Motor Power Cables series. The product connects drive controllers to motors in automated handling or processing cells, carrying three-phase power along with paired control conductors for brake or sensor circuits. Its orange PUR jacket follows common field wiring color conventions and provides mechanical protection without sticking to adjacent cabling. This helps the cable move freely in dense routing paths and reduces drag where several lines run side by side in the same carrier.

The cable handles a continuous line voltage of 600 V AC, so it can be installed alongside standard factory mains without additional insulation barriers. Each power core uses a cross-section of 35.0 mm², which reduces resistive losses over long runs and supports higher current peaks during acceleration. Even at 20 °C, the loop resistance is only 0.554 ?/km, which helps limit voltage drop and maintain stable servo torque. With an overall diameter of 30.8 mm, the assembly fits common cable glands on R and MS type connectors. A concentric copper braid plus aluminum foil provide total shielding, which attenuates electromagnetic emissions and helps protect nearby signal wiring. Two double-insulated 1.5 mm² control pairs are included for temperature monitoring or brake circuits.

Dynamic machine axes often require continuous motion in cable carriers, so the RKL4419 is rated for 5 million bending cycles inside drag chains. During travel, the flexible jacket tolerates a minimum bend radius of 7.5 x D, while fixed routing can be tightened to 5 x D without compressive damage. The outer sheath is molded from PUR (adhesion-free), giving high abrasion resistance and oil tolerance while preventing bonding to neighboring hoses. Conductors may reach a core temperature of +90 °C when fixed, and continuous flexing is allowed up to +80 °C in enclosed machinery and moving cable-track applications.
