RKL4351 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL4351 cable assembly is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and belongs to the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It carries drive output power and auxiliary signals between servo inverters and motors in automated production equipment. Factory-crimped contacts and an over-molded backshell on the motor side simplify installation and maintain correct phase order, so multi-axis systems can be installed without on-site termination or manual conductor mapping in pick-and-place robots and linear gantries.

It uses INK0603 bulk stock with a fine-strand conductor design that reduces skin-effect losses. The outer diameter is 17.0 mm, giving moderate fill factors in common cable tracks while leaving room for the PUR jacket that resists coolants and oils. Four power cores with a cross-section of 4 x 4.0 mm² deliver three-phase current plus protective earth at up to 600 VAC. The copper loop resistance of 4.95 Ohm/km helps limit voltage drop on long machine axes. Additional paired control conductors, sized at 2 x 1.0 mm² and 2 x 1.5 mm², are laid concentrically for brake release and temperature sensing circuits, and the cable is suitable for continuous drag-chain motion.

For dynamic routing, the cable is rated for 5,000,000 bending cycles and can be installed with a minimum static bend radius of 5 x D, or 7.5 x D during continuous movement. These bend limits help protect the sheath and conductors in high-speed gantry axes. The factory-installed drive-side connector set RLS0721/K04 interfaces directly with Rexroth power modules, while the motor end terminates in the RLS1207 plug for direct connection at the motor housing. PUR jacketing, combined with tinned copper shielding, maintains signal integrity in oily, coolant-rich environments across the full travel length.
